Creve Coeur, MO—Today, Ben Samuels, candidate for Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District, announced that his campaign has raised more than $1 million so far in the 2022 cycle. A majority of the contributions to Samuels’ campaign were $100 or less, and the campaign has more donors from Missouri than from any other state.
“I’m proud of the momentum our campaign has built,” Samuels said. “Missourians want a representative who will work across the aisle to deliver for them, not more of Ann Wagner’s radical politics.”
The Samuels for Congress campaign has consistently reported strong fundraising numbers: Samuels out-raised incumbent Republican Ann Wagner by more than $106,000 in Q3 of 2021, just three months after jumping into the race. Samuels has also been added to the watchlist for the NewDem Action Fund, the campaign arm of the largest Democratic ideological caucus in the House of Representatives.
Missouri-02 is one of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s “Districts in Play” in the 2022 campaign cycle.
