Samuels: “Missourians know that we need a leader in Congress who will work across the aisle to deliver results for our state and improve people’s lives”
Creve Coeur, MO – Today, the Ben Samuels for Congress campaign announced that it raised over $630,000 in the third quarter of 2021, the largest amount ever raised by a Democrat running in Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District during Q3 of the off-year.
Samuels made the following statement: “Missourians know that we need a leader in Congress who will work across the aisle to deliver results for our state and improve people’s lives. I’m thrilled by the enthusiasm we’ve seen since our campaign launched this summer and I will continue working hard to earn the support of the people of Missouri.”
This total, raised less than three full months after Samuels entered the race, will place Samuels among the highest-raising congressional challenger campaigns in the country. It is also almost $200,000 more than incumbent Congresswoman Ann Wagner raised in Q3 of the off-year during the previous campaign cycle.
